w SALEM UNIT 1 AUXILIARY (EMERGENCY) FEEDt4ATER AUTOMATIC INITIATION AND FLOW INDICATION - REQUEST FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION In order for our contractor (Franklin Research Center) to complete their review of the Salem Unit 1 auxiliary feedwater automatic initiation and flow indication systems (Action Plan Item II.E.1.2) it is necessary to provide them with the information requested on the enclosure to this memo.

He request that the enclosed-request for information be forwarded to the licensee.

To facilitate timely completion of the FRC review, the licensee should be asked to submit the required information by January 15, 1981.
