Under separate cover, we are transmitting forty copies of the Annual Environmental Operating Report for the Donald C. Cook Nuclear Plant corresponding to the year 1984. This report was prepared in accordance with Section 5.4. 1 of Appendix B, Part and Section 6.9.1.6 of Appendix A Technical Specifications of the II Donald C. Cook Nuclear Plant.

A auestion was raised late to the formula used to calculate inthepreparation of this report as standard deviation. We will advise the NRC of the situation within one week from the date of this letter.

This document has been prepared following Corporate Procedures which incorporate a reasonable set of controls to insure its accuracy and completeness prior to signature by the undersigned.
