LICENSE AMENDMENT ESTABLISHING AN INTEGRATED IMPLEMENTATION SCHEDULE SAN ONOFRE NUCLEAR GENERATING STATION, UNIT NO. 1 (TAC NO. 54376)

The Commission has issued the enclosed Amendment No. 98 to Provisional Operating License No. DPR-13 for San Onofre Unit No. 1. This amendment is in response to your application dated May 23, 1984 as modified on August 29, 1985 and supplemented on March 26, 1986, October 14, 1986 and March 23, 1987.

The amendment implements.a license condition which establishes an Integrated Implementation Schedule Program Plan (the Plan).

The license condition requires that Southern California Edison Company follow the Plan.and the terms therein for establishing and revising schedules for specific plant modifications.

Our evaluation of the Plan is provided in Enclosure 2 and a copy of the Plan is enclosed as Attachment 1 of Enclosure 2. During our review of your submittals, certain minor modifications to the Plan were found to be necessary. These changes were discussed with your representative and found to be mutually agreeable. Based upon our review, we conclude that the revised Plan is acceptable.

A Notice of Issuance will be included in the Commission's next regular biweekly Federal Register notice.
