Dear Mr. Crutchfield:
The enclosed proprietary affidavit is submitted in response to your reference letter and to supplement our application for withholding, CAW-83-73, dated September 1, 1983.
The proprietary affidavit identifies the information sought to be withheld from public disclosure and sets forth the basis on which the information may be withheld from public disclosure by the Commission. It addresses with specificity the information suggested in your reference letter to the extent of the considerations listed in 10CFR Section 2.790 (b)(4) of the Commission's regulations.
Because this affidavit contains Westinghouse proprietary information, it is being submitted in confidence and is.marked Westinghouse Proprietary Class 2.
In accordance with the provisions of 10CFR Section 2.790 (b)(1)(ii), we request that the proprietary affidavit also be withheld from public disclosure.
Correspondence with respect to the proprietary aspects of this application should reference CAW-83-73 (Supplement), and should be addressed to the undersigned.
