CONFIRMATION OF INITIAL OPERATOR LICENSE EXAMINATIONS:

PERRY NUCLEAR POWER PLANT

Dear Mr. Bezilla:

We have received your corporate letter L-11-204, dated July 8, 2010. In that letter, you did not request any changes to the existing initial operator licensing examinations scheduled at the Perry Nuclear Power Plant.

However, we note that you were previously scheduled for an initial operator licensing exam the weeks of February 18 and 25, 2013. This exam has been moved to the weeks of February 25 and March 4, 2013, with an on-site validation scheduled for the week of February 4, 2013.

Similarly, the February 2015 exam date was moved to the weeks of February 9 and 16, 2015, with an on-site validation date scheduled for the week of January 19, 2015. These exams were moved to accommodate resource scheduling.

In the unlikely event that we are unable to support the examination during the scheduled weeks, we will inform you immediately upon discovery of such conditions and make arrangements to administer the examinations at a mutually acceptable date.

We understand that your staff will develop the examinations. Please inform us at your earliest opportunity if you discover you need to change the scheduled examination date.

A supplementary letter will be sent to the training department approximately 120 days prior to the examination informing the training manager of the chief examiner's name. The letter will also outline examination security expectations, list the materials required by the NRC to review and conduct the examination, reconfirm the examination date, and reconfirm the number of candidates you have in the training program.

In accordance with 10 CFR 2.930 of the NRC's "Rules of Practice," a copy of this letter will be available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room or from the Publically Available Records System {PARS) component of NRC's Agencywide Document
