SUBJECT: SENIOR REACTOR OPERATOR RETAKE EXAMINATION BROWNS FERRY

NUCLEAR PLANT - 05000259/2004-302, 05000260/2004-302 AND

05000296/2004-302

Dear Mr. Singer:

In a telephone conversation on July 14, 2004, between Mr. Richard Moye, Lead Examiner,

Operations Training, and Mr. Edwin Lea, NRC Senior Operations Engineer, arrangements were

made to reschedule a retake written licensing examination at Browns Ferry Nuclear Plant. The

examination, which was originally scheduled to be administered by members of your staff

during the week of August 9, 2004, has been rescheduled to be administered during the week

of August 23, 2004.

As agreed during the telephone conversation, the due date for the completion of other

examination related activities identified in the June 2, 2004, will remain the same. The NRC

regional office will continue to work with your staff to identify any changes that might be

necessary before the examination is administered.
