l In compliance with Section 6.9, Reporting Requirements for the Hope Creek Technical Specifications, the operating statistics for March 1997 are being forwarded to you with the summary of changes, tests, and experiments that were implemented during February 1997 pursuant to the requirements of 10CFR50.59(b).

Refueling information for Hope Creek Generating Station is also provided. Although there are no Technical Specification changes required related to refueling, there are Technical Specification changes that are required to resolve licensing basis issues prior to the end of Hope Creek Generating Station's next refueling outage, which is currently scheduled to end on November 5, 1997.
