Dear Sirs:
I The Reference * .s forwarded changes to the System 80+ Standard Plant design which were reviewed and approved - ae Staff and the ACRS. In accordance with discussions with Mr. J. N. Wilson, this ,
letter transmits tnree (3) copies of the revised pages incorporating these changes into the System 80+ l Standard Plant Design Control Document. These revised pages, transmitted for Staff verification, document the design changes forwarded by the referenced letters. In addition, this revision corrects j g various consistency, editorial and typographical errors that were discovered during review of the DCD.
No additional technical changes, other than those formally submitted in the referenced letters, have been made to the System 80+ Standard Plant design. None of these revisions are required to meet Commission regulations or to maintain the safety conclusions of the FSER.
Each DCD page containing a substantive change is identified by a margin bar adjacent to the change and a footer date of 11/96; editorial or typographic changes likewise list a footer date of 11/96 but do not contain margin bars. In addition, a number of previously issued pages have been reprinted without change to ensure consistent print quality. One further revision to the System 80+ DCD is anticipated to ensure consistency between this document and the final design certification rule.
