Dear Sirs:
The Combustion Engineering Standard Safety Analysis Report - Design Certification (CESSAR-DC) has been revised to address closure of confirmatory issues in the February 1994 System 80+" Final Safety Evaluation Report, resolution of ACRS and NRC staff comments, and resolution of ABB-CE consistency review comments. A summary of the Arendment W revisions is enclosed with this letter, along with the affidavit required by 10 CFR 50.30(b). The thirty-seven (37) printed copies required by 10 CFR 50.4 (b) will be provided by the first week of July. Three copies of Amendment W revisions have been provided directly to Mr. T. Wambach of NRC staff.
ABB-CE has conducted a detailed review of the System 80+ Technical Specifications in Chapter 16 of CESSAR-DC, including technical accuracy and consistency with other chapters. Therefore, ABB-CE hereby certifies that the information in the System 80+ Technical Specifica-tions is consistent with design information throughout CESSAR-DC.
