As directed by your letter of July 18, 1997, this letter transmits the proposed integrated examination outline for the November 3, 1997 licensing examination at the James A.

FitzPatrick Nuclear Power Plant.

The examination outlines are contained within the enclosed, sealed envelope that is conspicuously marked "FOR OFFICIAL USE ONLY" and "TO BE OPENED BY ADDRESSEE ONLY."

Attachment 1 to Section ES-201 of NUREG-1021, Operator Licensino Examination Standards for Power Reactors, requires that I direct you to withhold these materials from public disclosure until after the examinations are complete.
