The meeting was held at the request of the licensee to discuss current actions involving three construction deficiencies reported under
CFR 50.55(e).
The deficiencies involved discontinuities in vendor supplied pipe spool welds and pipe elbow welds, and failures in embed plate bolts.
Licensee and Bechtel representatives presented the results of the technical analyses performed to date on these problems, and identified tentative courses of action for final resolution.
Licensee representatives stated that their actions and results would be documented in 50.55(e) reports to the NRC.
