Areas Insoected: Routine, unannounced inspection of the licensee's physical

Results:- Within the program areas inspe::ted, no viol'ations or deviations were identified.

The security program at WCGS appears to be well' managed and receives the support of licensee management. The security force appears to be professional and motivated. The perimeter detection aids were.recently upgraded and testing is_ ongoing to gain the optimum perforanance from the m

system. The licensee is currently completing an evaluation of the system and -

plans are well advanced to-upgrade the camera system in the summer of 1990.

Two open items requiring NRC followup are discussed in paragraph 3. - These items detail problems with the security of keycard/ badges-and an incident

wherein visitors were not properly escorted.
