Thank you for your letter r/ March 23, 1979, in response to our letter dated March 1,1979, and '.ne attached Notice of Violation.
As a result of our revir.w, we find that additional information is needed.
Specifically, certain information appears to be lacking in your response to the finding regarding testing of concrete for slump limits. You have indicated, in your response "b)", that training would be conducted for all " Inspectors" involved in the testing of concrete. Our appraisal of this event indicates that more than a lack of action on the part of a concrete QC inspector was involved.
Please inform us of what training and/or other corrective measures you may be planning, and to what extent these plans include construction department personnel.
In addition, please include in your response the steps you plan to take which will determine if your corrective action is effective.
