mining which was reported to RII:IE on March 10, 1980 as a CDR reportable

under 10 CFR 50.55(e). Undermining occurred as a result of a March 8 storm. The licensee documented the undermining in nonconformance report number CD-780 and issued stop work notice number SW-Cd16.

The licensee has secured the area to prevent further erosion damage and is preparing a damage evaluation and recommended method of repair, which will be reviewed by NRC prior to commencement of repairs.
