Licensee Action on Previous Inspection Findings (Closed) Infraction (424/425/79-08-01): Failure to document backfill test data. Examination of quality records and instructions indicate that test data are being documented in accordance with licensee requirements. This item is closed.

No deviations or items of noncompliance were identified.

Licensee Identified Item 10 CFR 50.55(e) (Open) Item 424/79-18-01 and 425/79-18-01; Erosion of Category I Backfill.
The licensee reported a potential CDR regarding erosion of Category I Back-fill on November 14,1979, (see RII:IE inspection report number 424-425/79-17).
Region II:IE issued a confirmation of action letter dated November 15, 1979, James P. O'Reilly, IE Region II to J. H. Miller, in which it was understood that the licensee will not continue with backfill placement in or around the powerblock area or concrete placement on affected structures without the concurrence of NRC.
Based on information presented in Georgia Power letters, D. Dutton to J. P. O'Reilly dated January 8 and 10,1980, RII:IE concurred with the licen-sees request to resume work on backfill and concrete operations on specified areas in NRC letters J. P. O'Reilly to J. H. Miller dated January 14, 22 and February 8,1980.
The inspector examined work, procedures and records for ongoing backfill repair, dewatering operations, and a proposed scheme for additions to the existing dewatering system.
No deviations or items of noncompliance were identified.
