SUMMARY j
Scope:
This routine, announced inspection was conducted in the area of Physical l
Security Program for Power Reactors. Specific areas evaluated were:
j Management Support; Security Program Plans; Audits; Protected and Vital Area
'
Barriers, Detection Aids and Assessment Aids; Protected and Vital Area Access i
Control; Alarm Stations; Power Supply; Communication; Testing, Maintenance and j
Compensatory Measures; and Security Training and Qualification.
Results:
i In the areas inspected, violations or deviations were not identified.
l The inspector found one license identified non-citable violation (SL-5)
pertaining to security qualification requirement (See Paragraph 2k). All other areas evaluated were found to be more than adequate in providing a safe
,
and secure environment at the site and the offsite public.
Noteworthy was the l
self assessment program performed by site and security management. Security force performance and security training continued to be a strong characteristic of this licensee.
