Licensee Action on Previously Identified Items (Closed) 10 CFR 50.55(e) Report No. 50-373/77-01, dated October 14, 1977: Safety Relief Valve (SRV) control system deficiency (SRV re-opening after initial pressure transient from the design basis transient isolation event).
The inspector reviewed the test data and certifications of retest and resetting SRV's S/N 63790-00-0070, 71, 73, 79 received on MRR No. 7485 dated April 17, 1980, and the letter from S&L to CECO dated June 1, 1980 indicating acceptance of test data. The inspector found that the actions taken appear to be in conformance with the licensee's final report to USNRC, RIII, dated January 30, 1979.

(Closed) 10 CFR 50.55(e) Report No. 50-373/80-01, dated August 22, 1980: Main Steam Isolation Vclve (MSIV) deficiency in the leakage control system. The inspector reviewed P&ID (Main Steam) M-55, sheet 8, Revision H, dated October 6, 1981, showing the modification to the MSIV Isolation Valve Leakage Control System. The licensee appears to be in conformance with their final report to RIII dated September 7, 1980.

Over pressurization of secondary containment roof. The roof has been repaired / replaced. The inspector reviewed CECO's " Construction Test Procedure Secondary Containment Leak Rate Test" approved November 2, 1981. The inspector finds that the actions taken by the licensee appear to be in conformance with their final report to USNRC, RIII dated August 8, 1981.

(Closed) Unresolved Item 50-373/79-41-01:
Zack HVAC hangers are to be welded and inspected to revised standards. The inspector reviewed hanger fabrication details shown in prints M-1537 and M-1538 with respective hanger inspection sheets to verify that hanger details are clarified and inspected according to detail sheets. The inspector further reviewed M-1539 (hanger schedule) which indicates hanger location and references M-1537 and M-1538 for hanger detail.

(Open) Unresolved Item 50-373/81-22-13:
Inadequate fire protection for records storage. The inspector reviewed the FSAR amendment No. 56 dated May, 1981. The last paragraph states that "We comply with the objectives set forth-in the referenced revision of this Regulatory Guide, with the exception that during construction quality assurance records are stored in 2-hour rated facilities."
This item remains open pending NRR's concurrence.

Exit Interview The inspector met with licensee representatives (denoted in Paragraph 1) at the conclusion of the inspection on November 4, 1981. The inspector summarized the scope and findings of the inspection. The licensee representatives acknowledged statements by the inspector.
