(Closed) Inspector Followup Item 80-01-01 Proventive maintenance for electric motors. The inspector reviewed the licensees action on this item. The two pump motors 2-MTRB-70-59A and 2-MTRB-70-33B were used to supply water for flushing during the period September 1977 and April 1978. The operation of the pumps negated the necessity for motor rotation.
The motors were released to Power Production and are in service. The Control Rod Drive Cooling fans 2-MTRB-30-80B and 2-MTRB-30-88A are 75 horsepower motors which are excluded from the motor rotation program required by procedure P-6.
