Seismic Analysis for As-Built Safety-Related Piping Systems In response to IE Bulletin 79-14, Carolina Power and Light Company (CP&L)

submitted their response on July 23, 1979 with a subsequent letter on August 2, 1979.

In response to IE Bulletin 79-07 CP&L agreed to a total reanalysis of all safety-related piping and comparison of the as-built configurations to the as-designed (as analyzed) configurations. The re-analysis will be completed by November 19, 1979 and all modifications will be completed at the end of the next refueling outage for each unit.

The response stated that any repairs identified which are needed to maintain structural integrity or operability of a system would be fixed immediately.
