Gentlemen: Thank 3 " for your letter dated September 22, 1981, responding to the noncompi ,ce and the additional concern identified in our letter dated August It '981.
We have re ved the noncompliance, including the information provided in your let , and conclude that the noncompliance should not be with-drawn. The . sis for this conclusion is set forth in the enclosure to this letter.
Inasmuch as your corrective action for the noncompliance appears acceptable, we have no further questions at this time.
In general your proposed corrective actions for the area of concern appear to represent a positive approach to resolving this problem and thereby improving the effectiveness of your security program. A concent pertaining to your response is contained in the enclosure to this letter. We understand, based on a discussion with Mr. David Smith of your staff on October 6, 1981, that in addition to your stated pro-posed corrective actions, you will strengthen your management controls for monitoring the continuing effectiveness of these corrective actions.
We will review your corrective actions for the noncompliance and the area of concern during a future inspection.
