Inspection 50-289/80-24 This refers to your letter dated December 24, 1980 which is a supplement to your letter of November 3, 1980 that contains the proposed corrective action submitted in response to our letter dated October 8,1980.

Thank you for informing us of the delay in implementating the corrective actions documented in the attachment to your letter cf November 3, 1980.

It is understood that the compensatory measures described in the attachment will continue until January 21, 1981 when full compliance will be achieved.

These actions will be examined during a future inspection of your licensed program.

In accordance with Section 2.790(d) of the NRC's " Rules of Practice," Part 2, Title 10, Code of Federal Regulations, documentation of findings of your control and accounting procedures for safeguarding special nuclear materials and your facility security measures for physical protection are deemed to be commercial or financial information within the meaning of 10 CFR 9.5(a)(4) and shall be subject to disclosure only in accordance with the provisions of 10 CFR 9.12; therefore, the referenced letter will not be placed in the Public Document Room and will receive limited distribution.
