In a letter dated March 6,1992,f" the NRC Staff issued Generic Letter 92-01, Revision 1, " Reactor Ve::sel Structural Integrity,10CFR50.54{f)." A response to Generic Letter 92 01 was providad on July 6, 1992, and additional information was provided to the Staff in a letter dated December 21, 1992.'

Consistent with telephone discussions held with the NRC Staff on January 13, 1 1993, Connecticut Yankee Atomic Power Company (CYAPC0) is hereby providing additional information related to the upper shelf energy of the Haddam Neck l Plant reactor vessel. This informtion demonstrates that based on Charpy l impact testing, the upper shelf energy for the Haddam Neck Plant reactor  ;

vessel remains ab1ve 50 ft-lbs through the end of licensed plant life.
