Ily letter dated October 19, 1994, Georgia Power Company informed the Nuclear Regulatoiy Commission (NRC) statrof a potential schedule change associated with testing of motor operated valves in the Unit 2 main steam isolation valve leakage control system (MSIVLCS). Ily letter dated March 17,1994, Unit 2 Technical Specifications amendment number 132 was issued which allowed for removal of the MSIVLCS. This amendment was implemented and the MSIVLCS was physically removed during the Spring 1994 Unit 2 refueling outage.
Consequently, no further NRC action is necessary in response to our letter of October 19, 1993, since the valves in question are no longer installed in the plant.
