of the subject bulletin. LILCO hereby reports that safety-related swing check valves 2 inches in size or greater r

.were reviewed.for applicability to the informetion provided in  :

NRC Bulletin 89-02. It was determined that no Anchor Derling

.Model S350W swing check' valves or valves of similar design exist in tho-plant and,'by design, no ASTM A-193 Grade B6 type 410SS g internal bolting material exists in any safety-related swing  :

check valve in the plant. This determination was reached after a  !

thorough review of'the SNPS check valve dr.ta base which includes '

every-safety-related check:valvo in the plant 2 inches in size

.and greater. .The construction of valves less than '2 inches in size precludea the problems and concerns addressed by the subject g ~ bulletin. Thus, the'_ action requirements (disassembly and- .

inspection) of the-bulletin are not applicabJe to SNPS.
