201 6 NRC INITIAL LICENSE EXAM

- PRAIRIE ISLAND RANDOM SELECTION METHODOLOGY The technique used to develop the 201 6 NRC Initial Licensing Exam Outline for Reactor and Senior Reactor Operators at Prairie Island Nuclear Generation Plant followed the example illustrated in ES-401 Attachment 1 of NUREG-1021 , Operating Licensing Examination Standards For Power Reactors, Revision 10 , with one exception.

Exception:

1. Prairie Island personnel used a random number generator developed with an Excel Database spreadsheet instead of drawing numbered tokens from

a bag.
