2016 NRC INITIAL LICENSE EXAM - PRAIRIE ISLAND RANDOM SELECTION METHODOLOGY The technique used to develop the 2016 NRC Initial Licensing Exam Outline for Reactor and Senior Reactor Operators at Prairie Island Nuclear Generation Plant followed the example illustrated in ES-401 Attachment 1 of NUREG-1021, Operating Licensing Examination Standards For Power Reactors, Revision 10, with one exception.

Exception:

1. Prairie Island personnel used a random number generator developed with an Excel Database spreadsheet instead of drawing numbered tokens from a bag.
