The proposed change would revise TS and would approve certainanalytical methods that together would support operation in the expanded power-flowoperating domain described as the Extended Flow Window (EFW). The purpose of therequested amendment is to transition from the General Electric methodology calledMaximum Extended Load Line Limit Analysis Plus (MELLLA+) to-the AREVAmethodology called EFW.In Reference 2, NRC Staff identified further information that was required to supporttheir acceptance review. The correspondence stated that the submitted LAR could besupplemented to provide the required information. The purpose of this supplement is toprovide the required information.The general approach to this supplement was discussed with NRC Staff in a telephoneconference on December 2, 2014.I)A_(

Enclosure 1 is proprietary to AREVA.Enclosure 2 provides the non-proprietary AREVA Report ANP-3376NP, Revision 0.The nonproprietary report is being provided based on the NRC's expectation that thesubmitter of the proprietary information should provide, if.possible, a nonproprietaryversion of the document with brackets showing where the proprietary information hasbeen deleted.Enclosure 3 provides AREVA FS1 -0008928, FSQA-07-AISHA User and Programmer'sManual for BWR Transient Analysis Including Large Oscillations, Revision 2.0. Thismanual is proprietary in its entirety.Enclosure 4 provides AREVA FS1-0008916, FSQA-07-SINANO User's andProgrammer's Manual, Revision 2.0. This manual is proprietary in its entirety.Enclosure 5 provides AREVA Report EMF-2279(P), Revision 0, STAIF: A ComputerProgram for BWR Stability in the Frequency Domain -Theory Manual, datedSeptember 2001. This manual is proprietary in its entirety.Enclosure 6 provides affidavits executed to support withholding Enclosures 1, 3, 4, and5 from public disclosure. These Enclosures contain proprietary information as definedby 10 CFR 2.390. The affidavit sets forth the basis on which the information may bewithheld from public disclosure by the NRC and addresses with specificity theconsiderations listed in 10 CFR 2.390(b)(4).
