On January 4, 2024, (Reference 4) GE Hitachi Nuclear Energy Americas, LLC (GEH) requested an exemption for the MO facility implementation of NRC's Enhanced Weapons, Firearms Background Checks, and Security Event Notification rulemaking.

Upon further review and after additional discussions with NRG (Reference 5), GEH has decided to withdraw this request effective J u ne 5, 2024.
