PURPOSE: Documents software changes to the process computer (e.g. changing the CPR limits).

1.0 -SCOPE This procedure providen for the review of proposed process computer software changes that could affect nuclear calculations.

2.0 CENERAL Although many sof tware changes affect only balance of plant or computer functioning, some NSSS sof tware changes are made cach

• cyc]c. This procedure specifies that the Process Computer Engineer ,

and the Project Enginecr-Reactor review computer sof tware changes to determine if the change affects nuclear calculations. If nuc1 car calculations are affected, the software change *is further reviewed

3.0 PROCEDURE FOR CHANCES TO THE PROCESS COMPUTER

1. Changes.to the, process com*puter will be reviewed by the Plant Computer Engineer and the Project Enginecr-Reactor and this review documented on the " Patch Record Form."

2. As a result of these reviews, a determination will be made whether PNSC review is required.. PNSC review is required if either the Computer Engineer or the Project Enginecr-Reactor determine that the change affects the NSS calculations.

3. The Project Engineer-Reactor is responsible to ensure changes to the process computer which require PNSC review are reviewed by the PNSC. The Computer Engineer is responsible to the Project Reactor Engineer for the administration of the " Patch Record Form."

Y. The " Patch Reco'dr Forms" will be maintained by the Computer Engineer.
