Before consideration of a license renewal of North Anna, a current full and thorough new Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) should be required.

No generic EIS should be allowed. North Anna is unique as it sits on a fault line and the earthquake exceeded its design limits.

What seismic upgrades have been made since the 2011 earthquake?

What is the proof that North Anna reactors can withstand another earthquake?

What is the current condition of the original reactor foundations, liners, electrical cables, etc.?

Has there been a thorough analysis of the storage waste equipment and surrounding area?

Page 2 of 2 What new equipment and parts have been replaced and when?

What new security measures have taken place?

When have the inspections been performed since the COVID pandemic?

What new training has taken place to assure the inspectors are current in their skills and knowledge?

Since the North Anna region has significantly grown with development since 1978, 1980 what measures have been taken for evacuation?

What is the condition of the earthen dam?

What shortcuts and alternatives have been used to substitute for the standard practice?

This nuclear reactor MUST be safe.
