The tragedy in Japan is still in my mind as I consider the merits& demerits of continued operation of the Lake Anna without having all pertinent information before me. I do not consider myself out of line to expect government officials to demand the same updated information before ruling on a 20- year renewal. The only way to obtain comprehensive updated data essential to an appropriate review and decision is via a full blown environmental impact statement (EIS). The time &

effort is well worth the knowledge that lives could be saved via an appropriate review. The COVID-19 pandemic is a perfect example on how thousands of lives have needlessly been lost via neglect and ignorance.

Lets not make the same mistake twice.
