During a wondor inspection at the Engine and Compmssor Division of Transamerica Delaval, Incorporated TDI), it was datemined that: (1) planned corrective actions am adequate; 2) detailed instructions for relocating the governor oil cooler had not been mailed to all the sites; and (3) there was no Transanerica Delaval documentation agarding installation of the govenor lube oil cooler onto the engine during the manufacturing / fabrication / assembly activities. It is suggested that you initiate actions to ensure the recommended inspection contained in TDI's letter to TVA dated December 18, 1981, is accomplished at the identified stations.

This subject is addmssed in the attached Vendor Inspection Report No. 99900334/82-02.

We consider this item closed; followup on the deficient amas will be accomplished during the routine inspection effort. Please contact us if you have any questions.
