SUBJECT:

TRANSAMERICADELAVAL, INCORPORATED (TDI)-CLOSEOUTOF AITS ITEMS AND INSPECTION REQUESTS Vendor Program Branch (VPB) inspections were performed at the TDI facility in Oakland, California, on September 6-15 and October 17-21, 1983, which included specific requests from Regions I, II, and III in the scope. The findings from these inspections are documented in the attached VPB Inspection Report Nos. 99900334/83-02 and 83-03 and were included in a presentation made in the meeting with the TDI Owners Group on January 26, 1984. As a result of this meeting and planned actions for assuring the adequacy of TDI furnished equipment, it is considered that the generic aspects of identified deficiencies are being appropriately addressed and, accordingly, we are closing out the following subject requests:
