'In accordance with 40 CFR 50.90, we are enclosing a requested amendment to licenses DPR-77 nnd DPR-79 to change the technical specifications of-SQN units 1 'and 2. The proposed change revises the diesel generator continuous rating in surveillance' requirements (SRs) 4.8.1.1.2.a.5, 4,8.1.1.2.d.3, 4.8.1.1.2.d.7. 4.8.1.1.2.4.8; and the.two-hour rating in SR 4.8.1.1.2.d.7 (units.1 and 2). The wording of SR 4.8.1.1.2.d.8 (units 1 and 2) is also revised to be consistent'with industry standards.

The proposed technical specification change is identified in enclostre 1. The justification for the proposed technical specification change is provided in enclosure 2. -A proposed determination of no..

significant hazards consideration performed pursuant'to 10 CFR 50.92 is provided in enclosure 3.

Enclosed is a check for the $150 amendment application fee required by 10 CFR 170.12.
