Joseph H. Farley Nuclear Plant - Units 1 and 2 Proposed Removal Of Organization Charts From Technical Specification Administrative Control Requirements On March 22, 1988 Generic Letter 88-06, "Removal of Organization Charts From Technical Specification Administrative Control Requirements" vas issued to all power reactor licensees and applicants. The guidance provided in this Generic Letter addresses amendments that may be proposed for removing organization charts from the administrative control requirements of the Technical Specifications.

Accordingly, Alabama Power Company proposes to delete the offsite and onsite organization charts (Figures 6.2-1 and 6.2-2) from Technical Specifications 6.2.1 and 6.2.2. Furthermore, Alabama Power Company proposes to revise Specifications 6.2.1 and 6.2.2 to include general requirements that capture the essential aspects of the organizational structure that are defined by the organization charts. The proposed changes are consistent with the guidance of Generic Letter 88-06.

The proposed technical specification changes are provided in Attachment 1.

Alabama Power Company has determined that the proposed changes do not involve a significant hazards consideration. In accordance vith 10 CFR 50.92, a significant hazards consideration evaluation is provided in l

Attachment 2. Alabama Power Company's Plant Operations Reviev Committee has I reviewed these proposed changes and the Nuclear Operations Review Board vill review these proposed changes at a future meeting. NRC approval of this change is requested as soon as practicable.
