'lhe schedule for the radiological safety review of the Vogtle plant has not yet been approved. However, the proposed schedule calls for submission of first round questions on the PSAR by early May 1973.

In order ,to f amiliarize appropriate Site Safety personnel with '

the plant surroundings and hopefully to resolve or clarify some of the potential problem areas , I have tentatively arranged a visit to the site on April 25, 1973, to be followed the next day by a meeting with the applicant and his specialists to discuss site related problems. I will furnish a detailed itinerary at a later date.

To make both the visit and the meeting as meaningful as possible, I would like to be able to furnish the applicant a list of draf t questions or problems regarding the site which should be considered in the arrangements for the visit and the agenda for the meeting. I would need these draf t questions by about April 6,1973, in order to give the applicant a chance to pre-pare a response and to make sure he has the proper specialists available to address the problem areas.

Accordingly, I would appreciate receiving by April 6,1973, the name of the person or persons who will be present from each branch, together with a set of draf t first round questions or areas of special concern which should be addressed during the

, visit and/or meeting.
