Please take notice'that the Atomic Energy Commission by an order of the Presiding Officer, dated May 19, 1959, has amended Construction ,

Permit No. CPPR-5 issued'to Yankee Atomic Electric Company. A public hearing on the proposed amendment was held on April 9,1959 The Presiding Officer delivered his intermediate decision and order amend-  :

ing Paragraph D of'the Constiuction Permit.to read as follows:

"D. Yankee, Atomic Electric Company has adequate financial ,

resources to meet the requirements of the Atomic Energy

. .a Act and the regulations issued thereunder in reference to the project set forth in the construction permit e -

issued herein, as amended, and is financially qualified pursuant to Section 50.h0(b) of the AEC regulations to design and construct the facility (nuclear reactor) and 1

is financially qualified pursuant to Section 50.60(c)(2) of the AEC regulations to receive an allocation of special j i
