UN:TED STATES NUCLEAR REGULATORY CCMMISSION DOCKET NO. 50-29 YANKEE ATOMIC ELECTRIC COMPANY YANKEE-ROWE NUCLEAR POWER STATION NOTICE OF ISSUANCE OF AMENOMENT TO FACILITY OPERATING LICENSE Tne U. S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (the Commission) has issued Amendment No. 64 to Facility Operatine License No. OPR-3, issued t'o Yankee Atomic Electric Company (the licensee), which revised the Technical Specificacions for operation of the Yankee-Rowe Nuclear Power Station (Yankee-Rowe) (the facility) located in Franklin County, Massachusetts.
The arencment is effective as of its dace of issuance.
The amendment nodifies the Technical Soecifications to reflect modifi-cations to the Fire Detection and Suppression Systems recently completed at the facility.
The application for the amendment conplies with the standards and require-ments of the Atemic Energy Act of 1954, as amended (the Act), and the Commission's rules and regulations.
The Commission has made appropriate findings as required by the Acc and the Conmission's rules and regulations in 10 CFR Chapter I, which are set fertn in the license amendment.
Prior public notice of this amendment was not required since the anendment does not involve a significant ha:ards con-sideratien.

- The Commission has determined that the issuance of this amendment will not result in any significant environmental impact and tnat pursuant to 10 CFR 551.5(d)(4) an environmental impact statement or negative declaration and environ-mental impact appraisal need not be prepared in connection with the issuance of this amendment.
