Discuss RWCU RAI due date John, Weve run across some complications in progressing on our RWCU RAI response thatll challenge the 9/25 due date. Namely our recent forced outage (8/20-9/2) and continued difficulty ascending to full power due to chemistry issues has resulted in difficulty getting the engineering interface necessary to complete our response. The change in approach to credit additional valves is driving us to do some work identifying the best valves that would serve the intended function and that we have a reasonable means of performing leak checks on the selected valves. Our engineering organization has been running outage schedule for 2+ weeks now (coverage on nights/weekends) so coordination of the engineering team has been virtually impossible and one of the primary issues is chemistry related so our RWCU system engineer is at the heart of the firestorm so to speak. We are making progress and as of this morning were maneuvering the plant towards 85% power (up from our 65% holding pattern since this weekend), but an actual date to return to business as normal is still a bit uncertain. Wanted to talk with you about additional time and or possible staggered response where we provide as much of the response as we can by 9/25 with a portion to follow awhile afterwards.
