[External_Sender] Study results for Columbia Generating Station Date: Friday, November 6, 2020 3:37:45 PM Thank you for your presentation on the results of the entrainment study for Columbia Generating Station. The fact that no ESA-listed UCR steelhead fry were entrained, combined with the results of the modeling work on risk of impingement, gives us confidence that you are operating the water withdrawal structures for Columbia Generating Station as expected per our 2017 Biological Opinion and Incidental Take Statement (injury or death of no more than 900 steelhead fry per year).

We do not need more information on this topic at this time, but look forward to receiving your annual post-season reports ("describing the biological monitoring activities, the number of listed fish taken and the location, the type of take, the number unintentionally killed, and the take dates" (Term & Condition 4.a). We also expect to continue receiving copies of the reports you submit to EFSEC for your NPDES Permit WA002515-1.

Best wishes, Lynne Krasnow Lynne Krasnow, Ph.D.
