foranunanalyzed condition.
Theicecondenser consistsof24bayscontaining 81basketseach,arrangedina300degreearcbetweenthecontainment andcranewalls.Thebasketsarerequiredtocontainaminimumweightofboratedice,andasurveillance isperiodically performed toweigharepresentative sampleofthebasketstoassurethattheminimumweightrequirement ismet.Toperformthissurveillance, thebasketsarephysically liftedandweighed.Theicebasketsarehelddownbyau-boltarrangement attachedtothelowersupportbeamwithaclevispin,whichisnecessary topreventmovementofthebasketduringLOCAandseismicevents.Theclevispinmustberemovedtoliftandweighthebasket.IcebasketsarenolongerunpinnedduringModes3and4,andrecollection ofcognizant plantpersonnel isthatthisprocedural optionhasnotbeenusedinmorethantenyears.Archiverecordsarebeingreviewedtoascertain thelasttimethebasketswereunpinnedinthismanner.Becauseonlinebasketunpinning isnolongernecessary fortheperformance ofbasketweighing, theprocedure willberevisedtoeliminate thisoption.ItisexpectedthatanupdatetothisinterimLERwillbesubmitted byApril3,1998.q8Psi20055 PDRADOCI4,0S
