7590-01 UNITED STATES NUCLEAR REGULATORY COMMISSION YANKEE ATOMIC' ELECTRIC COMPANY DOCKET NO.50-029 YANKEE NUCLEAR POWER STATION NOTICE OF WITHDRAWAL OF AMENDMENT TO FACILITY OPERATING LICENSE The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (the Commission) has granted a request by Yankee Atomic Electric Company to withdraw its March 21, 1989 and as supplemented on April 14, 1988 application for an amendment to Facility Operating License No. DPR-3 issued to the licensee for operation of the Yankee Nuclear Power Station. Notice of Consideration of Issuance of this amendment was published in the FEDERAL REGISTER on May 3, 1989 (54 FR 18965).

The purpose of the licensee's amendment request was to revise the Technical Specifications (TS) pertaining to snubber listing.

Subsequently, the licensee informed the staff that the amendment is no longer requested. Thus, the amenoment application is considered to be withdrawn by the licensee.

For further details with respect to this action, see the application for anendmen.t dated March 21, 1989 and as supplemented on April 14, 1988.
