SUPPLEMENTAL COMMITMENT IN RESPONSE TO BULLETIN 90-01 HOPE CREEK GENERATING STATION.

DOCKET NO. 50-354-On July 18, 1990, Public ServiceLElectric and Gas ~(PSE&G) provided NRC a response to Bulletin 90-01 via NLR-N90149. The enclosure to that response detailed a commitnant to replace suspect transmitters manufactured by Rosemount in " Pressurized Service." This commitment specifically excluded seventean transmitters in " Atmospheric Pressure Service."

After reevaluating the functions and redundancy-of these' seventeen transmitters, PSE&G has-determined that it-will replace l these transmitters also. This will be accomplished within six l months following the completion of the third refueling outage for u.3 the Hope Creek Station. This outage.is. currently scheduled for W December 26, ~990 through February 13, 1991.. All other commitments provided in our bulletin response are not affected by-this change, and will be completed as previously indicated. If you have any questions regarding this. supplement, please do not. '
