NOTE TO: B. Grimes, Chief, Accident Analysis Branch W. Gammill, Chief, Site Analysis Branch ACRS SUBCOMMITTEE MEETING ON THE V0GTLE APPLICATION

1. The Vogtle application currently is scheduled for consideration at the April ACRS meeting.

2. The Vogtle subcommittee of the ACRS has scheduled a two-day site visit and meeting on March 28 - 29, 1974. The site visit will be on the afternoon of the 28th with a full day meeting on the 29th, probably in Augusta, Georgia.

3. To date, we have not received an agenda for the meeting, but I have been informed that the subjects in which the subcommittee is particularly interested include the geology and seismology of the site and the possible impact on Vogtle of the Savannah River Plant.

4. I shall keep you informed regarding an agenda for the meeting, but in the meantime I would appreciate it if you would plan to have appropriate personnel attend the subcommittee meeting.
