On October 31, 2013, the US Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) issued the subject inspection report for the Shearon Harris Nuclear Plant using Temporary Instruction 2515/186 (ML13305B047). In reviewing this report, we identified an administrative error regarding the incorrect inspection report number. The correct report number should be 05000400/2013406 instead of 05000400/2013404. Please make the appropriate pen and ink change in the subject report to reflect the correction. We apologize for any inconvenience caused. In accordance with 10 CFR 2.390 of the NRC's "Rules of Practice," a copy of this letter, will be available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room or from the Publicly Available Records (PARS) component of NRC's document system (ADAMS). ADAMS is accessible from the NRC Website at http://www.nrc.gov/reading-rm/adams.html (the Public Electronic Reading Room).

On August 29, 2013, the U. S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) completed a security inspection at your Shearon Harris Nuclear Plant, Unit 1. The inspectors discussed the results of this inspection with Mr. J. Dufner and other members of your staff. The inspectors documented the results of this inspection in the enclosed inspection report.


The NRC inspectors did not identify any findings or violations of more than minor significance.
