NOTE: All communications on the radios will take place on system frequency.

  • OPERATION OF PORTABLE RADIO: a) IF a portable radio is to be used: 1) Turn SQUELCH switch "ON" b) Turn VOLUME switch slowly until desired volume is obtained c) Turn SQUELCH switch until inaudible d) Turn FREQUENCY switch to 3 e) Obtain team designation number (ie, "Team-I")

g) IF talking to the Base Station (HP-1, HP-2 or HP-3), the call sign will be transmitted by the Base Station upon termination of message. h) GO TO Step 6 4. Office), HP-2 (TSC), HP-3 (LEOF)] II i) IF talking to the Base Station (HP-1, HP-2 or HP~3) the call sign will be transmitted by the Bas_e Station upon nati.on of message j) GO TO Step.§_ 5. OPERATION OF RADIOPHONE:
