5/18/2005 10:59:43 AM -FLENTJE, FRITZIE: A 24-hour FFD ENS report (EN # 41705) was submitted by PBNP on 05/17/05.

The report was submitted on the Unit 1 docket, as is the practice for reporting of events that are non physical plant and not unit-specific, such as security events. The NRC daily report of the event indicated that Unit 2 was at full power. Unit 2 is shut down for its refueling outage. (Copies of the as-submitted ENS worksheet and daily event report are attached.)

The Duty Officer filled out the event report based on the verbal information (i.e., he did not wait for the faxed report). The recording of the conversation between Point Beach and the Duty Officer was listened to again, and it was confirmed that the Point Beach caller actually stated that Unit 2 was at 100% power. (a communication error from our end) Immediate Action Taken: 5/18/2005 10:59:43 AM -FLENTJE, FRITZIE: Discussed with PBNP NRC Senior Resident Inspector.

Item was also noted by NRC during daily phone call. NRC will follow up with Operations Center.Recommendations:
