North Anna Status Russ, I just talked to Region II (Jim Hickey). The region is still in monitoring Mode and maintaining a bridgeline with the licensee.North Anna is still in an Alert. Offsite power restored and all EDG's secured. The 2H EDG is still inoperable by available.
North Anna Status Russ, I just talked to Region II (Jim Hickey). The region is still in monitoring Mode and maintaining a bridgeline with the licensee.
They are awaiting results of post maintenance testing to declare it operable (there was a leak on a jacket water HX gasket).Unit 1: Licensee restarted 1C RCP. They are using it to establish forced circulation and mix in the boron so they can verify adequate S/D boron concentration and proceed to cold S/D.Unit 2: Making preps to start 2C RCP and stabilize the plant for Cold S/D.
