'hePlantOperating ReviewCommittee determined thattheintenttoperformtherequiredTechnical Specification dailycalibration oftheNuclearPowerRanges, usingtheDailyHeatBalancecalculation, wasmet, buttheHeatBalanceCalculations wereinvalidduetotheinvalidLEFMinputdata.Insummary,it'asdetermined thatwhilethedailyheatbalancecalculations werenotvalid,'duetothesteadystatepowermaintained duringtheperiod, theNuclearPowerRangescontinued tobewithindesigntolerances andwerecapableofperforming theirintendedfunctions.

Anassessment wasperformed considering boththesafetyconsequences andimplications ofthiseventanditwasconcluded thattherewerenooperational orsafetyconsequences orimplications attributed totheinvalidLEFMinputtotheHeatBalanceCalculation because:Duringtheperiodinquestion, thehighestrecordedtotalfeedwater flow(fromtheMainControlBoardFeedflowTransmitters asrecordedontheHeatBalanceCalculation Form)was6497.29KLB/Hr.Usingthisfeedflowresultedinacalculated reactorthermalpowerofapproximately 98.74.PrevioustotheLEFMHP-85B'computer failure, reactorpowerasindicated fromplantcalorimetrics hadbeenlimitedtoamaximumofapproximately 984powerduetodegradation insecondary sideperformance.

Therefore, reactorthermalpowerwasbelow100%forallcalculated heatbalances.
