2.0 TESTREUIREMENTS

2~1Thistestshallbeperformed every18monthsorafter720hoursofcharcoaladsorbersystemoperation, sinceprevioustest,orfollowing

painting, fire,orchemicalrelease,intheareacommunicating withtheairhandlingunitandshallhavethefollowing conditions demonstrated.

2.1.12~1.2~~Pressuredropacrossthe"CHARCOAL" adsorberbankshallbe<3"H20atdesignflowrate,(+104).In-place"HALIDE"(Freon)leaktesting,undernormaloperating conditions, shallshow>99%removalefficiency.

2.1.3Every12months,a"CHARCOAL" sampleshallberemovedfromanadsorbercell,randomlyselectedfromthosecellswiththelongestin-bankresidence timeor"TESTCANISTER(S)"

shallberemoved,andsenttoalaboratory foran"IODINEREMOVALEFFICIENCY TEST".Theefficiency shallbeatleast90%removalforiodine.2'2.3Aftereachreplacement ofa"CHARCOAL" adsorbercellorafteranystructural maintenance performed ontheadsorbermountingframesoftheunit,theefficiency specified instep2.1.2,shall'edemonstrated.

Visualinspection of"CHARCOAL" adsorbercellassemblies fordamageandlossofcharcoalshallbeperformed.
